How can I get my real estate license?

The Virginia Real Estate Board requires that you complete 60 hours of pre-license education before taking the state license exam.

Must be 18 years of age.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent certificate before registering for this course.
In any jurisdiction, no convictions in misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, sexual offense, drug distribution or physical injury or any felony; plea of nolo contender is considered a conviction.
Must complete fingerprinting & background check.

Steps after I complete the Principles of Real Estate Course:

Once you complete this course, you will be given the PSI licensing information pamphlet, which contains your Virginia Real Estate Exam registration form.

Once I pass the real estate licensing examination, I will need to:

Find a broker with whom you want to affiliate with.

Do I need to buy my books ?

Yes, Modern Real Estate Practice 21th Edition & VA Real Estate Practice and Law 13th Edition for $80 plus a $350 tuition. Only accepted methods of payments are cash, cashiers check or money order. Students are encouraged to purchase books early. ** NO refund once class starts **
